Key Details- Post: Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner
- Salary: Scale 2, SCP 3–4
- Contract: Permanent, term time only
- Hours:10 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Thursday and Friday 8:45am – 3:15pm
We are looking for a Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) to join our friendly and nurturing school community.
In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, independence, confidence, and wellbeing—both in groups and individually.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, adaptable, and committed to giving every child the best possible start.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a key member of our team, you will:
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving learning goals
- Promote independence, self-esteem, and positive behaviour
- Work closely with teachers to deliver planned learning activities
- Support children with literacy, numeracy, and other key learning programmes
- Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and displays
- Observe and record pupil progress as part of assessment
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment

- Able to use their initiative while being a strong team player
- Organised and proactive in supporting teaching and learning

This is a customer-facing role and requires the appropriate level of spoken English proficiency.
