About the RoleMMB is looking for an Engineering Geologist with a passion for innovative, pragmatic ways of working, reducing carbon and protecting the environment.
What You’ll Do- Undertake geotechnical desk studies, design of ground investigations, compile tender documentation and administer contracts.
- Support the technical supervision of field investigations and liaise with contractors.
- Interpret ground investigation data, present appropriate ground models, develop design parameters and communicate identified ground risks.
- Produce ground investigation reports and geotechnical design reports in accordance with EC7.
- Liaise with wider project teams (design and construction) to develop best‑value engineering designs and clearly communicate ground risks.
- Undertake various geotechnical analyses and design, produce calculation packages, and input works specifications and drawings for construction.
- Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering (MSc/MEng).
- A good understanding of geology and geological processes in the UK.
- Strong organisational, communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
