As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both our client and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

Their Engineering Team is a core function of their business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition.
What a PSV Engineer Role can offer you:
Basic hourly rate of £20 per hour, working Monday to Friday, early and late shifts.
£500 Guaranteed Christmas Payment

The role will involve:
Fixed periodic servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs to DVSA standards.
Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
MOT preparation planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks.
Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to our clients Standards (Higher than DVSA)
Various working shift patterns available
Requirements:
Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair
Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent international qualification (will require evidence of qualification)
If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with at least 5 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV’s
A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
