* Location:
Commutable to Telford – locations including Walsall, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Cannock, Rugeley, Dudley, Wednesbury, Welshpool, Stafford, Newport
* Travel: UK-Travel – focused around Shropshire and the North West – occasional overnight stays
* Salary:
Up to £45,000 + OT + benefits – OTE £55,000
* Benefits:
Door to door, OT Monday – Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x, BH 2x + holiday (as much overtime as desired), 23 days holiday, pension scheme, company van, annual bonus

Mercury Hampton is working with a well-established industrial engineering business to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join a small, highly skilled service team. This is a long-term opportunity offering strong development, autonomy, and flexibility, supporting customers across a range of industrial environments.
The business is open to junior through to senior engineers, with the role and level of responsibility tailored to experience.
You may have experience in:
* Essential - Field service or hands-on engineering roles such as workshop or maintenance engineer carrying out fault-finding/diagnostics, repair, servicing or maintenance work
* Desired - Mechanical understanding such as compressors, piston or rotary screws, valves, actuators, pumps, seals, turbines, pneumatics, hydraulics
* Desired - Electrical understanding e.g. control systems, electrical fault-finding, motors, PLC controls
* Essential - Background in industrial environments such as manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, automated assembly, medical etc
The Role
* Field-based servicing, maintenance and fault-finding of industrial systems and equipment
* Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
* Working with control circuits and electrical equipment
* Breakdown support and reactive maintenance
* Planned and preventive maintenance
* Customer-facing role representing the business on-site
* Working as part of a small, supportive engineering team with progression and learning/development opportunities
Package & Benefits;
* Salary:
Up to £45,000 depending on experience
* Door-to-door travel paid - OT Monday – Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x, BH 2x + holiday (as much overtime as desired),
* 23 days holiday, pension scheme, annual bonus
* Christmas shutdown period
* Company equipment – uniform, IPAD, phone, van, tools/equipment
