** PSV Engineer Responsibilities
** As a PSV Mechanic / Skilled PCV Engineer at Arriva Telford, you’ll play a key role in maintaining vehicle safety, reliability, and performance across our passenger transport fleet.

Your duties will include:
* Servicing, maintenance, and repair of PSV vehicles
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics
* MOT preparation and preventative maintenance inspections
* Vehicle safety inspections and quality control checks
* Roadside breakdown response and reactive repairs
* Using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop technology
* Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team
* Shift work including earlies, lates, and weekends (5 days out of
7)
** What We’re Looking For
** To be successful in this PSV Mechanic / PCV Engineer role, you should have:
* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in PSV, HGV, automotive or vehicle engineering
* Experience as a PSV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Bus Engineer, or Vehicle Technician
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures
* Ability to work independently and follow engineering standards
* Electrical systems knowledge (desirable but not essential)
* PCV licence preferred — training can be provided
* IRTEC accreditation welcomed
