Senior Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established, industry‑leading manufacturing business renowned for its operational excellence and commitment to continuous improvement.

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site.
• Lead fault‑finding activities to quickly isolate and resolve issues.
• Support planned preventative maintenance programmes to reduce downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across site equipment and processes.
• Mentor junior engineers, share best practice and support the development of the wider engineering team.

• Proven multi‑skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable experience leading maintenance activities within a fast‑paced production setting.
• Strong background in reactive, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Advanced electrical and mechanical fault‑finding capabilities.
• Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support to engineering colleagues.
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Senior Engineer within the UK.
• Experience fault‑finding with PLC systems, using inputs and outputs.
• Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and reliability initiatives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
