Contract Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Outside IR35

Rate: £38.00 per hour

Contract Length: 2 weeks

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 10‑hour days (50 hours per week)

Week commencing 13th July 2026

As a Contract Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum uptime across the site.

Equipment includes:

• Industrial robotics
• CNC machinery
• Mechanical and hydraulic presses
• Automated assembly equipment
• Conveyors and associated production machinery

• Time‑served Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias
• Level3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
• Previous experience within automotive or highly automated manufacturing environments
• Excellent electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on robotics, CNC machinery, presses and automated production equipment
• PLC fault‑finding and interrogation experience would be advantageous
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running
• Own tools and PPE
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
