Prepare and deliver monthly cost reviews. Support the Senior Management Accountant with all monthly reporting requirements, Assist in preparing the annual forecast of Expenditure for the customer and contribute to the annual budgeting process. Manage reallocation submissions and communicate subsequent baseline budget. Oversee internal financial deadlines for your area of responsibility, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Handle internal financial queries and provide on‑site financial support to operational teams and staff.
Raise and manage Purchase Orders in line with procurement and financial control requirements. Act as a Finance Business Partner to operational leads, promoting a strong financial control environment and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Manage agency staffing costs and collaborate with external agency providers to ensure cost control and compliance. Partner with Accounts Payable to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Review and maintain the IA (Internal Audit) process and ensure accuracy and completeness of asset reporting within the asset management system. What you'll need to succeed Highly proficient in Excel, with advanced capability to manage, analyse, and manipulate large and complex datasets. Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on monitoring changes and ensuring adherence to change‑control processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, building partner and stakeholder confidence through clear, consistent, and professional engagement.
Experience in designing, implementing, and improving reporting systems, tools, and methodologies. Strong problem‑solving ability combined with a continuous‑improvement mindset, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes. AAT qualified or Part‑Qualified CIMA/ACCA, with a strong desire and commitment to completing a professional accountancy qualification. Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour, contributing to a supportive and productive working environment.
