Accounts Manager

TPF recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruitment for an Accounts Manager to join a highly reputable, fantastic quality firm of chartered accountants, based near Goudhurst. You will be joining a fast growing and successful practice, where you will work in a general practice capacity within the accounts team. This position is being recruited as a consequence of growth and presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress in their career.

You will be offered exposure to complex, high value work, dealing with prestigious national and international clients. You will be given lots of autonomy, where you will have direct client contact and have the opportunity to oversee a small team too. A large proportion of the position will be built around the candidate's experience/ aspirations but as an example you will be responsible for:
Reporting, business, and tax planning. Reviewing financial statements, mainly prepared under FRS 102, with some under IFRS. Reviewing corporation tax returns. Reviewing VAT returns. Supporting outsourced FD clients with management reporting and ad hoc queries, overseeing compliance and reporting processes. Assisting in the training and development of junior team members. Requirements Accounts Manager Goudhurst Be ACA/ACCA, probably 4 years post qualified.

Have experience in a mid-tier firm where you have experience of clients that includes complex/ high value cases. Experience in international cases would be an asset but not necessarily a prerequisite. Report directly to the Directors. Be able to competently review complex accounts and accounting consolidation work to a high standard, ready for final director review. Be competent to run meetings with clients Have a good associated corporation tax/ VAT knowledge.

Benefits Accounts Manager Goudhurst £50,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
