An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger professional to join its finance team. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the accounts payable function. Working within a busy finance department, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, matching invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes, and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time. You will liaise regularly with suppliers, procurement teams, warehouse staff, and other internal departments to resolve queries and maintain strong supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role.
  • Be confident processing high volumes of invoices within a fast-paced environment.
  • Have experience matching invoices to purchase orders and GRNs with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
