Role Overview
We are looking for compassionate, motivated and reliable Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Lyons Court. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals with mental health needs and physical disabilities, helping them to live safe, meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with a variety of activities such as shopping, attending appointments, household tasks and medication administration.
- Support residents to maintain dignity, independence and personal choice.
- Engage residents in activities inside the home and in the community.
- Assist with personal care, household tasks, meal preparation and daily routines.
- Provide safe and appropriate support for individuals with complex needs.
- Use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to promote well‑being and reduce distress.
- Build strong, trusting relationships through active listening and meaningful engagement.
- Follow care plans and contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
- Encourage social interaction, community participation and healthy lifestyle choices.
- A caring, patient and trustworthy nature.
- Friendly communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
- A genuine passion for helping others and improving quality of life.
- Reliability, positivity and a team‑focused attitude.
- No previous experience required – full training is provided through the Careline Academy.
