Part-Time Support Worker roles (15 hours per week)

£12.80 per Hour, sleep-in duties required (As needed , not guaranteed)

Locations:
Bridgnorth & Telford

Joining bonus £200 (T&C's £50 on completion of onboarding, £150 on completion of 6 months probation)

We support adults with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities, promoting choice, dignity, inclusion and wellbeing.

We're looking for three Part-Time Support Workers (15 hours per week). Shifts typically range from 2 to 6 hours and may include mornings, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

About your role

As a Support Worker, you'll help people live fulfilling lives by providing person-centred support tailored to their individual needs and goals. Activities may include shopping, attending appointments, social outings, leisure activities, holidays and support within the home.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support with daily living tasks and personal care where required.
  • Encourage independence, choice and inclusion.
  • Support access to the community and social activities.
  • Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
  • Administer medication following training.
  • Follow support plans and maintain accurate records.
  • Work closely with colleagues, families and health professionals.
About you Essential
  • Caring, compassionate and reliable.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team.
  • Willing to complete training and development.
  • Able to work across services in Bridgnorth and Telford.
Desirable
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs.
  • Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
