We are growing rapidly, expanding our OT team as part of a broader clinical growth programme, and are looking for a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join us at an exciting moment in our development.
The RoleThis is a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist role within our specialist OT service. You will manage an independent caseload, deliver high-quality assessments and interventions grounded in Sensory Integration principles, and work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team of OTs, SLTs, and clinical support staff.
You will be supported by a structured six-week onboarding programme and have access to ongoing Sensory Integration training delivered directly by our Clinic Director, including the opportunity to enrol in a two-year SI training programme. This is a role for a clinician who wants to deepen their specialist expertise while making a meaningful difference to the children and families we serve.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Delivery- Manage an independent caseload of at least 20 regular clients, achieving therapy goals and targets established during assessment
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based OT assessments and interventions grounded in Sensory Integration principles
- Provide tailored home and school recommendations and implement interventions to support children across all relevant environments
- Deliver online therapy sessions for clients who are unable to attend in person
- Communicate therapy plans and progress clearly and professionally to parents, carers, and other professionals
- Collaborate closely with our MDT, including Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Educators, and Administrative Staff
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute actively to the development of therapeutic services
- Contribute to EHCP assessments, annual reviews, and clinical reports in line with Hopscotch’s documentation standards
- Engage with the six-week onboarding programme and integrate Hopscotch’s clinical practices and standards
- Participate in regular clinical supervision with the Clinic Director
- Pursue ongoing CPD, including the opportunity to enrol in Sensory Integration training delivered by our Clinic Director
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably within paediatrics
- Certificate in Sensory Integration or demonstrable Sensory Integration experience in clinical practice
- Experience managing an independent caseload and delivering assessments and interventions for children with neurodevelopmental differences
