Speech and Language Therapist Band 6

We are currently looking for a Speech and Language Therapist Band: 6 Clinical responsibilities To be professionally and legally accountable and responsible for all aspects of your work, including the management of children and families in your care. To develop and maintain the skills required to practise at a highly skilled level within the community and to work in an isolated environment.

To undertake the comprehensive autonomous assessment of children and young people, including those with complex presentations, using investigative and analytical skills. To analyse and interpret clinical and non-clinical information to form an accurate profile of strengths, difficulties and needs, diagnoses and prognoses in a wide range of complex conditions. To assess capacity to consent, gain valid, informed consent and work within a legal framework with patients and family members who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
