Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Human Resource Manager to provide expert employee relations support and guidance across a range of HR matters. This role is responsible for managing employee relations cases, advising managers on people‑related issues, supporting performance management activities, and ensuring HR practices are applied consistently and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor who promotes effective people management while helping resolve complex workplace matters.

• Manage employee relations cases from initial assessment through resolution.
• Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters and HR best practices.
• Support performance management processes and advise managers on performance improvement actions.
• Investigate workplace issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and confidential employee records.
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability matters.
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives and process improvements.
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to promote effective people management.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies.
• Monitor case progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Proven experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on employee relations.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations casework.
• Strong knowledge of performance management processes and HR best practices.
• Experience providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers.
• Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and employee relations principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
