Your new role

As a People Advisor, you will provide operational HR support across the business, partnering with managers to deliver effective people solutions and best practice guidance. You will manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management and long-term sickness cases. You will also support organisational change initiatives, recruitment activities, policy implementation and continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

Advising managers on a full range of employee relations matters up to dismissal and appeal stage.
Managing HR casework and maintaining accurate records within the HR system.
Supporting recruitment campaigns, shortlisting, interviews and onboarding activities.
Providing guidance on employment legislation, policies, pay and benefits.
Supporting change management activity, including consultation, redeployment and redundancy processes.
Producing and analysing HR data and reports to support decision-making.
Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Building strong stakeholder relationships and coaching managers on people management best practice.
What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a generalist HR Advisory position with strong employee relations knowledge. You will be confident supporting managers with complex people issues and have a sound understanding of UK employment law.

You will also have:

CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases.
Previous recruitment and selection experience.
Experience coaching and influencing managers.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Experience using HR systems and producing HR reports.
A collaborative, customer-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
