Position: HR Advisor (12 month FTC)
HR Advisor (12-Month FTC) Winsford| On-Site (1 day wfh) £35,000 - £40,000  Completion Bonus We're exclusively partnering with a fast-paced, operational business in Crewe to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the action, building strong relationships with managers, and rolling their sleeves up to support a busy workforce.

The Role Supporting the HR function across a large operational workforce, you'll provide practical HR guidance, manage employee relations casework, and ensure HR processes are delivered effectively and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees. Manage a range of employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and conduct issues. Lead investigations, hearings and formal meetings, ensuring a fair and consistent approach. Support recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities. Oversee occupational health referrals and support return-to-work and reasonable adjustment processes. Take ownership of time and attendance administration, ensuring accurate records and payroll data.

Produce HR reports, maintain employee records and prepare HR documentation. Support the delivery of HR initiatives, policy implementation and continuous improvement projects. We're looking for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable operating in a busy, fast-moving environment and isn't afraid to get stuck in. You'll Bring:
Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role. Strong employee relations experience, particularly disciplinaries and grievances. Experience supporting absence management and occupational health processes. Knowledge of payroll inputs, time and attendance systems, or workforce planning processes. Up-to-date understanding of UK employment law. Confidence challenging and influencing managers at all levels. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
