Purchasing Coordinator

£30,000 - £33,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Bell Cornwall Recruitment is looking for a highly organised and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join an established manufacturing business in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for a strong administrator with previous experience within a manufacturing environment who is confident working with suppliers, systems and detailed information.
Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:- Managing supplier orders, quotations and delivery schedules
- Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
- Updating ERP/MRP systems and monitoring material requirements
- Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing and issues
- Supporting stock control, logistics and purchasing administration
- MUST have previous administration experience within a manufacturing environment
- Exceptional organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident using Excel, ERP/MRP systems and general IT
- Commercially aware and confident communicating with suppliers
- Proactive and able to take ownership of issues and find solutions
