Mechanical Fitter – Systems Assembly

Full‑time, permanent, early finish Fridays.

Are you a hands‑on Mechanical Fitter who enjoys building and assembling manufactured systems and being part of a team that is going from strength to strength. Do you want to significantly be boost your earnings whilst travelling?

If so, this could be the role for you!

• Assembling and building automated machinery and equipment to detailed engineering drawings
• Extensive use of a range of power and hand tools to assemble the parts
• Carrying out testing, fault finding and diagnostics inspections of the build to ensure everything meets our high standards
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team
• The role will involve travel to customer sites both in the UK and overseas, therefore a valid passport and the ability to travel is an essential requirement of the role.

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, machine building or similar
• Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with experience of completing mechanical inspections
• Solid knowledge of engineering processes and extensive use of hand and power tools.

• Start your weekend sooner with an early finish every Friday!
• 40 hours per week:
  Mon - Thurs 07:45 – 17:00, Fri 07:30 – 12:30

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: £29,000 – £32,000 per year
