Monday Friday DAYS A well-established global manufacturer located in Telford is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. Our client has a friendly and supportive team onsite and prides itself on providing opportunities for internal progression and investing in employee development. As the new Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the maintenance and upkeep of two sites based in Telford.

This role will have a particular focus on plumbing and mechanical maintenance , alongside general building and facilities maintenance. You will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring the sites remain safe, compliant, and operational. You will also support facilities improvement projects and play a key role in maintaining high standards across both locations. Providing general building and facilities maintenance across two sites Carrying out plumbing and mechanical maintenance repairs Responding to maintenance breakdowns, faults and site repairs Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks Conducting routine facilities inspections and building checks Supporting building and facilities improvement projects Ensuring maintenance stores, spare parts and stock levels are maintained Keeping maintenance documentation and records up to date Working proactively to identify and resolve maintenance issues We are looking for someone with the following experience:

Experience with in a facilities maintenance, building maintenance or facilities engineering role Strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems and general building maintenance Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively Full UK driving licence is essential Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience with in a manufacturing or industrial environment would be beneficial This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Facilities Technician / Facilities Maintenance Technician / Building Maintenance Technician / Facilities Engineer / Facilities Maintenance Engineer / Building Services Technician / Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician / Property Maintenance Technician.
