We are seeking an experienced Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and management of the Club, working in close partnership with the Board of Directors, the Club Professional and the Course Manager. The role will enable the Board to focus on strategic governance while the Club Manager takes ownership of operational delivery, commercial performance, staff leadership and member experience.

Description:About us:
Shifnal Golf Club provides a wonderfully manicured course in beautiful rural Shropshire. The course is set in the grounds of a stunning 18th century classical regency house which is home to our pro-shop, catering facilities and our comfortable well stocked bar.
Hosting regular County, Midland and National events, we are extremely proud to be a recent winner of the England Golf Tournament Venue of the Year and have also recently been confirmed as the 2027 venue for the English Boys Under 14 Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and management of the Club, working in close partnership with the Board of Directors, the Club Professional and the Course Manager. The role will enable the Board to focus on strategic governance while the Club Manager takes ownership of operational delivery, commercial performance, staff leadership and member experience.

The successful candidate will maintain and enhance the Club's profitability, reputation and status through astute, efficient and proactive management, ensuring Shifnal continues to be regarded as one of the region's leading private members' clubs.
