Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established recycling company based in DY2 for reliable and hardworking Metal Recycling Operatives. This is a hands-on role focused on sorting and picking debris and contaminants from metal materials to ensure quality and compliance with recycling standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manually sorting metal materials on a processing line

* Identifying and removing debris and contaminants from recyclable metals

* Ensuring materials meet quality and safety standards

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Following site procedures, health & safety regulations, and PPE requirements

* Working efficiently to meet production targets

Working Hours

* Monday to Thursday: 5:50am – 4:45pm

* Fixed hours: 47.5 hours per week

* Saturday overtime: 6:00am – 12:00pm (when required)

 * £12.21PH

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience in recycling, waste management, production, or manual labour roles is advantageous (not essential)

* Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment

* Good attention to detail when identifying contaminants

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts

* Comfortable working outdoors or in industrial conditions

* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
