CNC Turner Setter / CNC Setter Operator

Working hours:

39 hours / 4.5 day

• Setting and operating machine tools to drawing specification.
• Onsite training may develop experience in programming (not essential).
• Identify improvements in the process and work with colleagues to close.
• Work with customer drawings and interpret customer requirements.
• Use of measuring equipment and ability to edit programs is required.
• Report to the Production Engineer; main duty is setting and operating machine tools to drawing specification.

• Knowledge of XYZ PROTURN / FANUC Control System.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Competent with measuring instruments.
• Experience in programming is preferred but not essential; training will be provided onsite.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.

Our client is a specialist sub-contract facility providing precision components and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies into the semi-conductor and mass spectrometer industries. Capabilities include sub-contract design and manufacture of Electronics (PCBA’s), Cables / Harnesses, Electro-Mechanical Assembly / Test & CNC Machined Parts for the Vacuum industry.
