Job role / duties

• Pack and prepare goods according to specifications and customer orders and ensure all packing activities meet quality standards, safety requirements, and production schedules.

• Verify batch numbers, expiry dates, and product codes.

• Conduct visual quality checks and ensure packaging standards are met.

• Follow SOPs and quality management procedures for all packing activities.

• Maintain accurate packing records and batch documentation.

• Support ISO audit activities and maintain compliance with quality standards.

• Follow environmental procedures and support ISO 14001 compliance in packing area.

• Collect materials and packaging from stores.

• Move packed products to storage or dispatch areas.

• Stack and store products safely.

• Operate forklifts or pallet trucks (if certified).

• Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment.

• Support stock takes and inventory checks.

• Complete end-of-shift cleaning and housekeeping.

• Complete packing checklists and batch records accurately.

• Record production output and wastage.

• Maintain traceability documentation

To be considered for this role you MUST:

• Have proven attention to detail and accuracy

• Be able to follow written/verbal instructions

• Possess good numeracy and literacy

• Be physically fit due to manual handling

• Be a team player

• Want to learn new skills

• Have experience in a warehouse environment

• Possess basic computer skills
