Punch Press Setter

Established engineering and fabrication business in Telford seeking a skilled Punch Press operator? As a Punch Press Operator, you will be working with a supportive team producing high quality steel products and working on well-maintained presses. Very good earning potential, salary is over £35K plus a bonus pushing this to almost £40K with other benefits to include 10% pension and 33 days holiday.

Shift: Night Shift - Sun - Fri, 37.5 hours 10pm - 6am

What You Will Do:

Operate Punch Press machines with precision, ensuring high-quality output.
Load and unload parts efficiently while adhering to production schedules.
Conduct quality inspections using equipment and gauges to meet ISO standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to maintain accuracy in production.
Maintain and clean equipment, keeping the workspace organised and safe.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
What You Will Bring:

Previous experience operating Punch Press machines, with Amada machines being a plus.
A strong ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
A proactive approach, with the ability to plan and work independently.
A team-oriented mindset combined with excellent attention to detail.
A commitment to reliability and a professional work ethic.
You will have current experience as punch press setter, punch press operator, turret press operator, brake press setter, brake press operator, CNC punch press operator.
