Electrical Fitter | Electrical Systems & Machine Build | Telford | Salary up to £32,000 + Overtime

MERITUS are excited to be partnered with a leading Engineering and Manufacturing business looking to expand their Electrical Build team. They are seeking experienced Electrical Fitters to support the construction, testing, and installation of bespoke electrical systems and equipment at their UK manufacturing facility and customer locations worldwide.

This is a hands‑on, technically focused role suited to an Electrical Fitter or Electrical Technician with strong machine build and fault‑finding experience, looking for international travel opportunities and long‑term career development within a growing engineering environment.

The role is based at their production facility in Telford.

• Construction and assembly of electrical systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings
• Electrical wiring, panel building, and machine build within a manufacturing environment
• Testing, fault‑finding, diagnostics, and quality assurance of electrical equipment
• Installation, commissioning, and support of systems at customer sites across the UK and worldwide
• Working independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary engineering team
• Prioritising workloads to meet project timescales and production deadlines
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

• Proven hands‑on experience in electrical assembly, machine building, or industrial equipment installation
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic capability on electrical systems
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes and electrical build procedures
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Experience working to high‑quality and safety standards within an engineering environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel worldwide and work overtime when required
