Position: Production / Manufacturing Technician (4 on 4 off)
Production / Manufacturing Technician (4 on 4 off - Days & Nights)

Site-based role commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Market Drayton, Newport, Whitchurch, Ironbridge and Broseley

Working within a modern production facility, you will be trained to operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot advanced manufacturing equipment while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are maintained. You will play a key role in supporting production performance, identifying issues, and helping to keep operations running smoothly.

Employees can progress to Level 2 (£39,452) and Level 3 (£43,489), increasing both their technical responsibilities and earning potential.

The Role

Operate and monitor automated manufacturing and production equipment
Carry out machine set-ups, changeovers, and routine operational adjustments
Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
Perform quality checks and ensure products meet specification standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production process
Work collaboratively within a skilled production and engineering team
4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern covering days and nights

The Person

Keen to develop technical and mechanical skills
Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
Ability to identify and solve problems in a production environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong team player with a proactive work ethic
Previous experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, logistics, automotive, military, construction, or similar environments is advantageous but not essential
