Position: Production / Manufacturing Technician (4 on 4 off)

Production / Manufacturing Technician (4 on 4 off - Days & Nights)

Site-based role commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Market Drayton, Newport, Whitchurch, Ironbridge and Broseley

Working within a modern production facility, you will be trained to operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot advanced manufacturing equipment while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are maintained. You will play a key role in supporting production performance, identifying issues, and helping to keep operations running smoothly.

Employees can progress to Level 2 (£39,452) and Level 3 (£43,489), increasing both their technical responsibilities and earning potential.

The Role
  • Operate and monitor automated manufacturing and production equipment
  • Carry out machine set‑ups, changeovers, and routine operational adjustments
  • Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
  • Perform quality checks and ensure products meet specification standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production process
  • Work collaboratively within a skilled production and engineering team
  • 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern covering days and nights
The Person
  • Keen to develop technical and mechanical skills
  • Practical, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and solve problems in a production environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong team player with a proactive work ethic
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, logistics, automotive, military, construction, or similar environments is advantageous but not essential
