Production Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client, who manufactures and markets a wide range of branded and private label dairy products made with milk from more than 1,700 British farmers.

Staffline is recruiting for Production Operatives in Telford.

The rate of pay for this role is £12.91 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £16.14 per hour.

This is a full-time role. You will work a 4 on 4 off, on a rotational shift pattern, with the hours of work being:
- 7am to 7pm
- 7pm to 7am

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:

- Operating a state-of-the-art filling line while maintaining a high standard of personal safety and ensuring the safety of others.
- Consistently upholding hygiene standards and housekeeping on your line to meet or exceed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) targets.
- Completing all paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner, ensuring it is audit-ready.
- Meeting operational targets and taking accountability for achieving all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Additional tasks include:

- Operating the pot dispenser.
- Loading cards into the tray erectors.
- Reducing the Cost of Non-Quality by ensuring right-first-time production and minimizing the need for rework.

Experience in a similar role is required.
