Solderer

Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for a Solderer for our client in Newport Shropshire. This is a role best suited to someone who has used soldering equipment previously. This role is temporary that could lead to permanent.

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday

7.30am - 4:30pm

Pay:

£12.71 per hour

Duties and responsibilities as a Solderer:

• Perform hand soldering of electronic components

• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met

• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions

• Use soldering irons, heat guns, and other tools safely and effectively

• Prepare and position components prior to soldering

• Identify and repair soldering defects

• Work with small parts with precision and attention to detail

• Maintain a clean and organised workstation

• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures

• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets

Qualifications & Skills as a Solderer:

• Use of soldering equipment and hand tools
• Working with electrical equipment
• An eye for detail
• High levels of written and spoken English
• A positive attitude to work
• Good Attendance & a self starter
