Magna are a leading specialist confectioner of Hollow and Shell-moulding chocolate products, based in Telford and have a firm belief that everything we do is carried out by a team. We wouldn't be half as successful without our Production Operatives.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out manual work on our production lines.
  • Support team leaders by performing a range of repetitive tasks of moving goods.
  • You could be feeding raw materials into a Machine.
  • Wrapping eggs by hand.
  • Packing goods into its retail pack.
  • Stacking finished goods on a pallet
  • Working on one line or different areas of the business
Requirements
  • Rights to work in the UK, without any restrictions.
  • Good hand & eye co-ordination and able to work quickly to maintain targets.
  • Reliability is key to this role, excellent attendance and punctuality is a necessity.
  • Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance, and general cleanliness to comply with statutory and company regulations is maintained.
  • Wear company uniform as specified and correct PPE as appropriate to task and training.
  • Ensure compliance of clean as you go/ good housekeeping.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety Procedures are adhered to by keeping work areas and factory floor clean and free from hazardous.
  • Have knowledge of the relevant safety, quality standards and procedures.
  • Have good communication skills to interact with fellow team members and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Day shift pay £12.71 per hour: and 13.64% for night workers.
  • Day shift:
    Mon
    - Wed, 7.30am to 7.30pm and every 2nd Sunday.
  • Day shift:
    Thur
    - Sat, 7.30am to 7.30pm and every 2nd Sunday.
  • Night shift:
    Sun
    - Tues, 7.30pm to 7.30am and every 2nd Saturday.
  • Night shift:
    Wed
    - Fri, 7.30pm to 7.30am and every 2nd Saturday.
  • Average holiday pay.

The selection process

If you pass our initial screening process, you'll be invited to complete a series of tests designed to assess how you approach and solve unfamiliar challenges. Successful candidates will then move on to a series of interviews to further explore their skills and fit for the role.
