NEW JOB VACANCY : FABRICATOR WELDER (TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE)
Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder, Fabricator, MIG Welder, Coded Welder, Welder Fabricator or Mechanical Fitter with Welding and Fabrication experience seeking a new job?
We are actively seeking a Fabricator Welder to join a well:established engineering business based in Telford, Shropshire, the standard working hours for this job are 7.45am : 16.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am : 12.15pm Friday (37.5 hours per week), and the role comes with an annual salary between A GBP 32,000 : A GBP 35,000 per annum (DOE) : hourly rate ranging between A GBP 16.40 : A GBP 17.95 per hour.
Overtime opportunities available and paid at T1/2 for anything worked over 37.5 hours in the week and on a Saturday, and double time on a Sunday.
The hiring manager would ideally like someone who has come from the Heavy Industry / Heavy Engineering industry.
A certificate/qualification in Welding, Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering would be well received.
What You Will Do- Carry out fabrication and welding tasks to a high standard, ensuring each Fabricator Welder output meets production requirements.
- Read and interpret workshop drawings and job instructions, applying them accurately as a Fabricator Welder.
- Work safely and efficiently in a production environment, following all health and safety procedures.
- Prepare materials for welding, including measuring, marking, fitting, and setting components correctly.
- Perform basic checks and quality reviews on completed work, responding promptly to any issues as needed.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder, with confidence working across fabrication and welding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent quality on every job.
- Practical understanding of safe working practices in an industrial workshop setting.
- Ability to follow drawings, specifications, and instructions accurately.
- A positive, reliable approach to teamwork, timekeeping, and problem:solving.
