Quality Assurance Technician

Rheinmetall Weapons and Ammunition UK (RWM UK) is part of the defence engineering company Rheinmetall AG based in Germany. Rheinmetall is establishing a new production site for large calibre barrels in Telford - and you have the opportunity to join the company at this really exciting time of growth and be involved in setting up the new plant from the very beginning.

We are looking for Quality Assurance Specialist who will be working close to production and making sure products meet the highest standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

Supporting and monitoring ongoing production from a quality assurance perspective
Creating, processing and tracking Q reports in SAP
Compiling quality documentation and creating acceptance test certificates and device-related documents
Making usage decisions and inspection lots, including material postings in SAP
Performing statistical quality evaluations for components and products
Identifying and implementing potential improvements in test planning and production processesWHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Completed technical training regarding engineering, quality or equivalent
Professional experience in quality assurance or mechanical production of metal construction components
Confident reading of technical drawings, in particular form and position tolerances
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP (QM module)
