Quality Technician
Location:
Telford
Salary: £14.17 - £17.71 (DOE)
Hours:
38 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm
30-minute lunch break each dayAre you an experienced Quality Technician looking for your next opportunity with a successful and growing manufacturing business?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our client's established quality team in Telford.
This role will suit someone who is confident working independently, communicating with customers and suppliers, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Conducting inspections and quality checks
Investigating quality concerns and implementing corrective actions
Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding quality matters
Maintaining quality records and documentation
Supporting continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
Previous experience within a quality-focused manufacturing environment
Experience completing FAIRs
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work on your own initiative
Confident approach to problem-solving and decision-making
