Job Description I Need Staff Today Limited, a recruitment agency based in Codsall, is recruiting on behalf of our client in Telford for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in manufacturing and, more specifically, sheet metal fabrication . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards across manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet customer specifications and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities Managing and maintaining quality control procedures across the manufacturing process. Ensuring products meet required quality standards and customer specifications. Monitoring production processes and identifying areas for improvement. Carrying out quality inspections and audits. Investigating quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Managing non-conformances and customer complaints. Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards.
Ensuring quality documentation and records are accurate and up to date. Promoting a strong quality-focused culture throughout the business. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication is essential. Previous experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality-related role. Good understanding of manufacturing quality control processes. Ability to identify problems and implement effective corrective actions.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Good communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively. Salary & Working Hours £38,000 – £43,000 per annum Day shifts Full-time position
