The Security Officer is responsible for providing a professional security service in line with assignment instructions and customer requirements, while consistently delivering excellent customer service. Demonstrating Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, the Security Officer supports a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and operations, ensuring the site remains protected and running effectively.

Key Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

As a Security Officer at Keysight Technologies, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets.

Duties include:

• Conducting internal and external security patrols and preventing unauthorised access to the site.
• Monitoring CCTV, fire alarms, intruder alarms, and other security systems.
• Managing site access, issuing visitor and contractor passes, and carrying out locking and unlocking procedures.
• Providing traffic management, enforcing parking regulations, and maintaining accurate security records and logbooks.
• Supporting health and safety compliance by reporting hazards, faults, accidents, and unsafe practices.
• Ensuring emergency escape routes remain clear and assisting with emergency response procedures.
• Investigating fire alarm activations and liaising with the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) during incidents.

The Security Officer plays a key role in protecting people, property, and operations, contributing to the smooth running of a world‑leading technology facility.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Strong front‑of‑house and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a corporate security role.
• Experience working closely with facilities and site management teams.
• Good IT skills and the ability to use site security systems and software.
• Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A valid SIA licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
• The right to work in the UK with a full 5‑year checkable employment history.
