Support Worker, Community Health

Contract Type: Permanent, Part‑time
Hours: 12 hrs per week - Every Saturday
Closing Date: Sunday 1 March 2026

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about helping others live independently, safely, and with dignity. If you would like to thrive in a role, and you’re confident working with individuals who may have complex needs, this could be the opportunity for you.

As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a team that puts people first—whether that’s conducting welfare checks, coordinating with external agencies, or simply being a trusted presence in someone’s life. You’ll need to be proactive, compassionate, and confident navigating safeguarding concerns and multi‑agency environments.

We’re not looking for perfection—we’re looking for authenticity, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

• A natural ability to build trust and rapport with people from all walks of life.
• Confidence in handling sensitive situations, including safeguarding and welfare concerns.
• Experience (or a strong interest) in supporting individuals with complex needs.
• A collaborative mindset—comfortable working with social workers, health professionals, and other agencies.
• A commitment to keeping accurate records and delivering high‑quality support.

An Enhanced and Adult Barred List DBS check is required.
