Role Overview

We are looking for a Support Worker who is passionate about helping others live independently, safely, and with dignity. The role involves working with individuals who may have complex needs on every Saturday.

Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will: conduct welfare checks, coordinate with external agencies, provide a trusted presence in people’s lives, and navigate safeguarding concerns and multi‑agency environments. You should be proactive, compassionate, and confident in managing these responsibilities.

What you’ll bring
  • A natural ability to build trust and rapport with people from all walks of life.
  • Confidence in handling sensitive situations, including safeguarding and welfare concerns.
  • Experience (or a strong interest) in supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • A collaborative mindset—comfortable working with social workers, health professionals, and other agencies.
  • A commitment to keeping accurate records and delivering high‑quality support.
Requirements
  • An Enhanced and Adult Barred List DBS check is required.
Benefits
  • Flexible and hybrid working; many roles support working across our main locations and from home.
  • Performance‑related pay based on shared success.
  • A choice of pension schemes with employer contributions of up to 10 %.
  • Employee Assistance Programme providing 24/7 virtual GP access, prescription service, and talking therapies for you and your family.
  • Generous holiday, occupational sick pay and paid family leave.
  • Annual allowance of £500 to spend on benefits of your choosing, including healthcare plans, dental care, gym membership and more.
Equality and Diversity

We’re proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work, are a Disability Confident (Level 2) and Menopause Friendly employer, and have signed the Armed Forces Covenant. We welcome applicants from historically under‑represented groups, including people of ethnic minority backgrounds, disabled people, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Where possible, we offer flexible working arrangements to help you balance work and personal life.
