We are seeking an experienced developer to support and enhance Internal Applications within Tax Administration.

The role focuses on maintaining live services, supporting batch processing, and delivering controlled change in a complex enterprise environment.

Hybrid working team with ability to travel regularly to Telford for team collaboration.

• Strong experience developing and supporting Java applications in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience working with Web Logic application Servers.
• Strong Oracle SQL skills, including writing and supporting complex queries.
• Experience using Git for version control within controlled release processes.
• Build and dependency management experience using Maven
  .
• Experience working with containerised platforms, including Kubernetes
  .

• Delivery focused with strong ownership of live services.
• Comfortable balancing BAU support with change and continuous improvement.
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and able to work across complex application landscapes.

• SC Higher clearance eligibility.
• Experience with Shell Scripting to support operational or batch activities.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using command line tools
