Scala Engineer / Developer | Digital Public Sector Programme

Location:

Telford (2 days per week onsite) Rate: £490 per day (PAYE / INSIDE) Duration: 6 Months Clearance: BPSS Required Your New Role We are seeking an experienced Scala Engineer / Developer to join a major public sector digital transformation programme focused on delivering modern, user-centric services that support the UK government's Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative. This programme is helping transform the UK tax system through innovative digital solutions and cloud-native technologies.

Working within a mature Agile environment, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, deploy and support high-performance Scala-based microservices. You'll play a key role in delivering modern digital services that directly impact millions of users. What You'll Need to Succeed Strong commercial experience with Scala Experience developing applications using Play Framework Strong knowledge of unit testing and integration testing Experience working in Agile delivery environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience developing and supporting microservices architectures Desirable

Skills:
