Telford/ Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite
Rate:
Up to £619 inside ir35
Duration: 6 months
Clearance: BPSS

We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer with strong JavaScript and React skills to join a high-profile digital programme.

You'll work closely with a UI/UX Design Lead and wider Agile delivery team, developing modern, accessible and user-focused digital services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality technical solutions.
Build reusable, responsive and accessible React components.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
Collaborate with developers, designers and technical stakeholders.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and code reviews.

Essential Skills

Strong commercial experience as a Front End Developer.
Excellent JavaScript skills.
Strong hands-on React / ReactJS experience.
Experience working alongside UI/UX Designers or Design Leads.
Experience working within Agile development teams.
Understanding of responsive and accessible web development.

Desirable

Public sector or government experience.

HTML / CSS.
WCAG and web accessibility.
Git.
