Are you an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver with a background in home heating fuel deliveries?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established fuel distribution business for an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver based in the Telford area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of heating oil and other fuels to domestic and commercial customers across the region.
Key duties include:
- Delivering heating fuel to homes and customer sites within approximately a 40-mile radius of Telford
- Operating a rigid fuel tanker in line with ADR and industry regulations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicle compliance
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
- Completing all required delivery documentation accurately
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental procedures
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Class 2 (Category
C) licence - Valid ADR qualification
- Previous experience delivering home heating oil or similar fuel products
- Experience operating a rigid fuel tanker
- Good knowledge of ADR regulations and fuel delivery procedures
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and manage daily delivery schedules
- Residence within approximately 15 miles of Telford
- Competitive hourly rate of £17.00 - £18.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- No nights out
- Consistent winter workload
