Keeps official corporation records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate individuals
- Retrieve and forward message messages received in the general mail box
- Greet all visitors and applicants in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist the customer with basic requests such as address and contact information
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
- Signing for packages, receiving and soring incoming mail and distributing to the appropriate individuals and preparing outgoing mail
- Maintain inventory of and order office supplies of all kinds
- Maintain office equipment such as copiers and set up maintenance and repair as needed.
- Maintain front desk appearance and cleanliness
- Assist with administrative duties and day-to-day tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- One (1) year prior assistant experience
- Effective computer skills are mandatory.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to staff
- Ability to handle confidential information and use of discretion while performing job tasks
- Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize work assignments
- Accuracy and detail oriented skills required
- Customer service oriented
A ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or board of directors.
MATHEMATICALSKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
