Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensure/Certification: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana. Must be current in BLS/CPR. Must provide proof of current insurance against liability for personal injury, death or property damage that may arise due to employee’s ownership, maintenance and operation of automobile. Must provide proof of valid driver’s license and renewals as mandated. Must provide own transportation to and from patient homes.

Experience: Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience preferable in a public health or home health/hospice setting.

Mental/Physical Effort: Requires close attention to detail and independent decision making. Requires alertness and skill. Makes management decisions in relation to patient care. Work is normally performed in a sitting or standing position. Requires occasional periods of physical exertion and stamina to work effectively under adverse conditions. Use of good body mechanics is used when lifting and transferring patients.
