Education: Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory services.
Licensure/Certification: Must be licensed to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Indiana, be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and be current in BLS/CPR.
ExperienceExperience: Preferred but not required.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care and therapy to patients per physician orders.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and administration of medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in patient care decisions.
- Work in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and the ability to manage stress.
- Operate and move respiratory therapy equipment; assist in transferring patients as needed.
Requires attention to detail; ability to withstand stress of life and death situations; standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, running, bending, positioning patients; moving equipment; patient transfers.
