About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and efficient Local Delivery Driver to join their operations team based in Tembisa . You will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers within the specified local area. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt service and professional conduct. The ideal candidate is familiar with the local road networks and possesses excellent time management skills.

Working closely with the dispatch team, you will play a vital part in the smooth functioning of our client's local distribution network, contributing directly to their service delivery reputation.

• Transport and deliver products to customers' locations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions, representing the company professionally.
• Accurately complete delivery logs and any required paperwork.
• Navigate routes effectively using GPS or provided maps.

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with an accompanying PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, with knowledge of the Tembisa and surrounding areas.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and carrying packages.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
