Accounting Manager

Our dynamic company is a leader in project-based accounting and is currently expanding into SaaS solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our team and support our continued growth.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification and substantial experience with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) regulations. This is an exciting role for someone looking to establish themselves in a leadership position within accounting. HQE is a rapidly growing company and this position will play a significant role in developing accounting policies and practices and shaping the accounting function for years to come.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting functions for the company
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Provide recommendations for improving the company’s financial operations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
• Support project-based accounting and assist in the transition to SaaS accounting solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of DCAA and DCMA regulations
• Proven experience in project-based accounting
• Familiarity with SaaS accounting practices
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
