OrganizationalPosition:
- Reports to Director of Operations
- Oversee quality and efficiency of the service center.
- Set up, triage, repair, recondition, and calibrate advanced scientific research equipment.
- Manage and coordinate external vendors for billable service on equipment.
- Provide on-site repair services as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse team for equipment handling.
- Provide service and customer support during warehouse visits.
- Align workflow with schedule.
- Manage installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve errors or technical problems.
- Produce detailed service reports in ERP.
- Ensure sold equipment functions properly using available software.
- Operate forklifts and use field automation systems safely.
- Follow company field procedures and protocols.
- Share information and cooperate with the technical team.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Ensure all ordered equipment parts included in the listing description are included in shipments.
- 7+ years of service experience with laboratory analytical equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Proactive problem-solving approach.
- Detail-oriented work ethic.
- Self-starter, motivated without supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Flexible working hours: 09:00 to 17:00, M-F.
- Technical degree or certification.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and provide technical service.
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
- Annual Bonus: Up to 10% (based on goals program)
