Occupational Therapist School in Temecula, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital occupational therapy services in a supportive, vibrant educational environment. Contribute your expertise onsite, making a tangible difference for approximately 80 students across elementary schools. The assignment begins as soon as possible, serving as coverage for a leave and is projected to continue through the end of the school year, concluding in June 2027.

• A valid, active Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in California
• Prior experience delivering OT services in a school-based setting, with a strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Commitment to working onsite exclusively, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills

• For COTA applicants:
  Deliver OT support at two elementary campuses, working a 7.5-hour day (excluding an unpaid lunch break)
• For OT applicants:
  Oversee a caseload including direct student services and supervision of a COTA at one location, with an 8-hour workday (excluding an unpaid lunch break)
• Engage students with varied needs, implementing effective interventions and tailored strategies
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation in accordance with school protocols
• Monitor student progress, participate in meetings, and collaborate effectively to help each child realize their potential
