Roles and Responsibilities:Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Physician Assistant:Position Summary: Under the direction of the Medical Director and onsite Supervising Physician, provides and coordinates direct patient care, including diagnostic and preventative healthcare services as delegated by a physician. Reports to the Director of Cardiovascular Services for departmental and organizational issues. Demonstrates core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model.
Education / Training /
Experience:
- Minimum:
Graduate of an accredited PA program or current NCCPA certification. - Desired:
Certification by NCCPA, clinical experience in Cardiology, and one year clinical experience in an acute care setting.
Licenses /
Certifications:
- Current California Physician Assistant License
- NCCPA certification or graduate from accredited program
- Current CPR recognition
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
- DEA number or proof of application
- CMS billing eligibility
- Credentialed through Enloe Medical Staff and Finance Office

Certifications:
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (within 8 months of hire)
- DEA number or proof of application
- Current BLS (CPR)
- CMS billing eligibility
- Credentialed through Enloe Medical Staff and Finance Office
